This sanctuary provides a haven for numerous species, including tigers, leopards, wild boars, hyenas, chinkaras, antelopes, sloth bears and many others. Ramgarh Tiger Reserve was established in 1982 to serve as a buffer between Ranthambore National Park and Ramgarh Tiger Reserve Forest Sanctuary, making for the ideal setting for wildlife sightings and nature enthusiasts. The story of the Leopard Cub’s rescue

Ramgarh Tiger Reserve played host to an extraordinary rescue mission in 2015 when a leopard cub was discovered in Maharashtra's sugarcane fields. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Wildlife SOS team volunteers, this cub was safely rescued and eventually placed under care and guidance by forest department authorities until it could return back into its native environment - eventually returning into wild habitat.
