One of the most important events for Christians all over the world, Good Friday is the fateful day when Jesus Christ was crucified. It is considered good because Christ's crucifixion made way for sinners to reach God. As the Bible says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Christians believe that Jesus took the weight of the sins of the world upon His shoulders and was crucified as punishment for everyone's sins. Now, whosoever believes that Jesus died for him will be saved from the everlasting fire of hell, and will be adopted into God's family.
