Moti Tibba

Tibba, in the local Himachali dialect is a name given to a flat hilltop with panoramic views of the surrounding region. Nestled between thick rhododendrons, firs, oaks, pines and deodars, Moti Tibba is a delight for nature-lovers. The best way to enjoy its beauty would be to take a stroll along the road connecting it to Dalhousie and you might even end up spotting some black faced langurs and macaques in the trees. It serves as an ideal place for photographers who wish to capture the scenic landscapes and the abundant wildlife. Moti Tibba was acquired by the government from Chamba’s king in 1853.
