Located near Myne Memorial and Thorn Hill, Mayo Memorial Hall’s interiors were ornamented by the designs and drawings of Professor Gamble of London’s South Kensington Museum. The large hall with a 180-ft-high tower was completed in 1879 and was used for public meetings, balls and receptions.
