Surrounded by hillocks and wild grass, the Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary is a wooded area in an arid place where there is no notable tree growth. The highlight of this place is the antelope and one can easily find a troop of antelopes galloping across this terrain. Other animals that can be found here include the wolf, common fox, hyena, and blue bull. There are more than 130 species of birds in the sanctuary, which include partridge, ring dove, purple sunbird and many others. The best time to visit is during winters and one can explore the forest by driving around in a jeep. The sanctuary once belonged to the former princely state of Wankaner and was declared as a sanctuary in 1988.
