After you have toured the temples during the day, enjoy a spectacular light and sound show at the same complex in the evening. Spanning 50 minutes, the show brings alive history, as the compelling tale of how these temples came into existence plays out. It is organised in the Western group of temples and expounds on the art, architecture and sculptures of the temples.

As the temples are lit up one by one, watch in awe and learn about the Chandela kings who constructed them and the legends behind each structure.

This show is held every day after sunset except during the celebrations of the Khajuraho Dance Festival in winter. The show is presented in two languages-- English for international tourists and Hindi for domestic visitors. It is a paid event.
