A beautiful and mesmerising place, Renukaji has much to offer travellers. The Renukaji Lake, located amid lush greens of the Indian Himalayas is the main attraction. Covering an area of 2.5 km, it is an ideal location for boating and angling. The nearby hills of the lake serve as a perfect spot for trekking and mountaineering. Tourists can also pay obeisance at the Renuka Temple, which is believed to have been constructed by Gurkhas in the early 19th century.

Another attraction is the Renuka Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to the Asiatic Lion as well as black bear, barking deer, wild fowl, goral, jackal and leopard. The avian life includes red fowl, wild fowl, common coot, woodpecker, parakeet, barbet and kingfisher. The sanctuary is spread over a lush area of 30 sq km.
