Located in the Dindori district, this fossils park attracts travellers for various interesting plant fossils housed here. Fossils of plants and trees, which are millions of years old, have been found in this area. Some of these include fossils of molluscs, which have led to speculations that this must have been a sea bed millions of years ago. These fossils have been scattered over the areas of Dindori and Mandla districts. The fossils in Ghughua mainly consist of plants dating back to 65 million years ago. In fact, one can find the traces of the existence of the Gondwana supercontinent in the fossils of eucalyptus trees found here that are native to Australia. Another attraction nearby is a 17th century fort, which is flanked on three sides by the Narmada river. One can also head to Ramnagar, which is about 15 km away from here.
