Built in modern style of architecture using glass panes, City Convention Centre is located within the palace compound in Imphal and provides high standard facilities for holding conventions, seminars, meetings and other get-togethers. It is the cultural nerve of the city, where almost all big events are organised. The centre's main auditorium has a capacity of 746 seats with desks and 300 seats without desks. The convention centre also houses a Conference Hall, an Audio Visual Room, a VVIP conference room and an exhibition-cum-multipurpose hall. The convention centre serves as a window to the rich cultural heritage of Manipur. Tourists can also visit the art gallery and the history museum located in the centre. The convention centre lies in Imphal's Sanjenthong area on the Nityaiband Chuthek- Konung Mamang road.
