The weavers of Gwalior are known for their excellent carpet weaving techniques. The enigmatic designs and the awe-inspiring patterns of these carpets surely catch the attention of one and all. It is said that the largest carpet of Asia is in Jai Vilas Palace, Gwalior, and it was prepared by prisoners. The carpet has photos of kings woven on it. It is 100ft long and 50ft wide and it took around 12 years to complete the masterpiece.
