Vasona Lion Safari is about 10 km from Silvassa. The 20-acre land is a part of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Wildlife Sanctuary. The park is known as the home of Asiatic lions. You can take a ride in vans fitted with a net mesh screen to explore the park and spot the lions in their natural habitat. The park was established to conserve Asiatic lions, provide proper medication, take care of their cubs and keep a track of their breeding. It covers almost 25 hectares of land and is enclosed within a 3-meter high wall.
