Considered as one of the most photographed beaches of Daman, Devka makes for an unforgettable trip. A beautiful expanse of black sand, it is kissed by water that is ideal to enjoy a refreshing swim in. You can even take a pony ride here. When the tide is low, tourists can head deeper into the Arabian Sea and collect shells and conch as memorabilia.

What’s more, the one-of-a-kind Devka Promenade and Sea Front, also known as the Namo Path is a must-visit. This 5.45km pathway, that has swiftly emerged as a cherished destination, has been thoughtfully designed to cater to tourists, boasting over 200 benches, smart lighting, parking facilities, lush gardens, delightful food stalls, and recreational areas.
The landscaped shrubs further enhance its beauty, while the mesmerising illumination at night creates an ethereal sight reminiscent of a starry necklace. Abutting Arabian Sea Coast, the Promenade and Sea Front extends on the beaches accompanying tourist centres of Daman namely Devka, and Chhapli Sheri area and Samudra Narayan Jetty.
Embracing the ethos of sustainable tourism, this visionary project beckons travellers to immerse themselves in its timeless splendour.

Tourists can also visit an amusement park located close to the beach. The park has beautiful walkways, multicoloured musical fountains that will leave you mesmerised. Stop at the food joints and savour local street food before you hop on a pony and take a ride to the beach or make your way to the gaming zone. The amusement park plays also host to some of the best local carnivals on the occasion of Nariyal Poornima.
