The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) puts up three amazing glamping venues in three diverse locations in India: Diskit and Thiksey in Ladakh and Kohima in Nagaland. The Chamba Camp Diskit is usually functional from mid-May to the end of September and is located in the Nubra Valley. Operational from mid-May to mid-October, the Chamba Camp Thiksey is located near the land of the lamas, Thiksey Monastery. These two camps offer luxuriously appointed tents, bespoke itineraries and other experiences like a game of Ladakhi polo and river rafting in the Indus. The Kohima Camp is located in a verdant forested landscape and is a few minutes’ drive from the venue of the Hornbill festival, held in Nagaland. This camp is operational only from end-November to mid-December as its sole purpose is to be up in time for the Hornbill festival, which is a great way to soak up the unique cultures of the 16 tribes of the state.
