Head to the city's famous Indira Gandhi Musical Park, situated right opposite the Nehru Planetarium, to witness a one-of-its-kind spectacular musical fountain show. The enthralling sound and light show features fountains that flow to the tunes of patriotic songs and others songs from Bollywood. The highlight of the show are the Vande Mataram and Sare Jahan se achha songs that are played at the beginning and the end of the musical fountain show.

The show is a seamless amalgamation of music and technology. The musical flow of the fountains is managed in a way that no music beat is missed and each rhythm is followed with jets of water. Colourful patterns such as a rainbow coloured mist and a swaying peacock tail, are created using coloured lights while a projector is placed in the backdrop to display still images related to music and songs that are being played. Two shows, about half an hour each, are organised everyday between 7 pm and 8.30 pm.
