Located near Shamlaji in Gujarat, Devni Mori is a sacred site related to Buddhism. It is where the remains of a Buddhist monastery, belonging to the 3rd-4th century, was discovered. Devni Mori also houses a stupa, which when excavated revealed a casket containing the relics of Buddha. The casket was discovered at the ruins of a Buddhist monastery from the 4th century AD. The relics are preserved at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara. The actual site is submerged under a reservoir now. The nearest city is Ahmedabad (around 125 km away).

A complex of seven rock-cut caves are located at Kadia Dungar near Zazpor village in Bharuch district of Gujarat. Said to be of the Kshatrap age, they are dated between the 1st and 2nd century AD.
