Located immediately opposite the main entrance to the ancient university compound, the Nalanda Archaeological Museum houses a fascinating collection of objects unearthed during excavations at Nalanda: bronze Buddhist sculptures, a set of statues of Lord Buddha that are relatively intact and undamaged, copper plates, coins, terracotta jars, pottery and stone inscriptions.
