Bheemli beach

Bheemili is also known as Bheemunipatnam or Bhimlipatam is situated at the doorway of Gosthani River in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. It used to be a major trading centre on the East Coast. The second oldest municipality in India is dotted with remnants of the Dutch settlements. A 17th-century fort, Hollanders Green (a cemetery and an ancient clock tower), and an extensive fusion of sculptures of Buddhist monks and Hindu gods is what remains of the East India Company. An old 18th Century lighthouse is another attraction on the beach that guides ships at sea even today. The entire beach stretch is peaceful and quaint, and especially good for children.
