BUDDHA STUPA-II

Excavation at this site in 1958 led to the discovery of another casket containing the ashes of the Buddha. Raja Vishal ka Garh: A site of historical importance, this huge mound has been identified with ancient Parliament house. It has a circumference of about one km. This site draws its name from an oral tradition, according to which the place was ruled by one Raja Vishal of Ikshvaku dynasty.
