Moregaon is a village located at a distance of about 50 km from Pune, en-route to Aurangabad in Maharashtra, and it houses a shrine to Mayureshwar Vinayak. Moregaon Mayureshwar is considered to be one of the Ashta Vinayak shrines An east facing image of Ganesha flanked by brass images of his consorts Siddhi and Riddhi is enshrined in this temple. The temple here is known as the Mayureshwar Ganesh Mandir and is the foremost centre of worship of the Ganaptya sect. It is also a place associated with Morya Gosavi, the saint of this sect. Located on the banks of the river Karha in the Baramati taluka of Pune district, this holy place has many legends associated with it.
