Declared as a heritage monument by the Archaeological Survey of India, the temple wonderfully exemplifies the early Pratihara architecture about 20 km from Orchha, there’s a beautiful shrine of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Built in red stone in a panchyatana style, four subsidiary shrines surround the temple at all four corners. The place is also known to have a great historical relevance, as it is here that the battle between the Marathas and Bundela kings was once fought.
