Saint Philomena's Church

Everything built in Mysuru was grand, or so it appears. St. Philomena's Church is awe-inspiring with its Neo-gothic style, built along the lines of the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. Built in Gothic style, it has some beautiful stain glass windows. The only one of its kind in this part of the world, the imposing building of the church brings to mind the architectural styles of the medieval times.Considered to be Asia's second largest church, it contains stained glass windows depicting scenes from the birth of Christ, the Last Supper, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Ascension of Christ. The Spires of the Church are 175 feet (53 meters) in height and are awe-inspiring.
