Jaipur is one of the most important centers in the world for cutting and polishing precious and semi-precious stone including topaz, emeralds, diamonds, etc. The local 'Kundan' style jewellery has originated from the royal courts of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Jaipur brass work is of immaculate quality. Jaipur enamel or Minakari is mostly done on gold. The main markets are Johari Bazar, Bapu Bazar, Nehru Bazar, Chaura Rasta, Tripolia Bazar and Mirza Ismail Road (MI Road).
