Siroi Hill is located in the Shiri- Kashong range. The area is known to be inhabited by many endangered bird species. In fact the Nongyin (Mrs. Hume's bar-packed pheasant) is Manipur's state bird. The state flower of Manipur, Siroy Lily, also called Shirui Lily (Lilium Macklinae) is a rare pinkish white flower found only in the Siroy Hill Range in the Ukhrul District of Manipur for a few months from mid-May every year.
