Tulsishyam is located on the border of the Amreli District and Junagadh District, in Gujarat. It is famous for the Tulsishyam Temple located in the heart of the Gir National Park. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is several hundred years old. According to fables and legends, Lord Krishna killed the demon named Tul here, hence, the place is associated with his name along with the name of Krishna as Shyam and is called the Tulsishyam. Close to the temple there are medicinal hot water springs that are said to have curative properties.
