JALDAPARA NATIONAL PARK

The Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the famous one horned Rhino and many othe varied and endangered wildlife species.The river Torsha flows through this rain forest sanctuary and the Malangi River also flow nearby from east to west. Jaldapara is spread over an area of 216.51 sq. km and with a Rhino population of more than 160. Other important species include Bison, Deer, Leopards and numerous birds, including the Great Hornbill.
