Bokaro Steel City, often referred as the City of Scholars, is among the main industrial cities in Jharkhand and one of the most industrialized zones in India. It was formerly part of the Manbhum District of East India during the British Raj. It houses the largest steel plant in India along with many other large, medium and small industries.
