Built in the Dravidian style on the Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi, it enshrines a huge bull carved out of a single grey granite stone and polished black with a mixture of peanut oil and charcoal powder. Bull Temple is a renowned worship place. It is one of the calm, peaceful and oldest places in Bengaluru. It is dedicated to Nandi bull, the vehicle of Lord Shiva. There is a huge idol of Nandi Bull inside the temple, measuring 4.5 m in height and 6.5 m in length.
