  • Dum Aloo

    Favourite amongst vegetarians. Cooked under pressure and dry fruits are added to enhance the flavor.

  • Dum Biryani

    The Kachchi biryani is prepared with meat marinated with spices overnight and then soaked in yogurt before cooking. The gosht (meat) is sandwiched between layers of fragrant long-grained basmati rice, and cooked on dum (steaming over coals), after sealing the handi (vessel) with dough.

  • Kachori

    This is a very popular morning breakfast . Steaming hot spicy Pyaz ki Kachori, in circular shape are available in maximum savory shops. The crisp flaky deep fried kachoris are a must try.

  • Nihari

    Typical meat curry which was popular among the elite Nawabs of Allahabad. It continues to be popular among the people from all over the region.

  • Rabri

    Cream of milk boiled and condensed without use of any sugar. Sometimes Jaggery/Gur is used to sweeten it. It is served cold with hot Jalebis.

  • Samosa

    Like much of India, the Samosa is a favourite snack. The locals pride their version of this Indian snack the most. The samosa usually carries a range of condiments that typically accompany the humble potato-stuffed fried pastry.
