Lodhi Fort
The over 500-year-old Lodhi fort, constructed by Muslim ruler Sikander Lodhi on a strategic location along the banks of Sutlej, stands in ruins today. The once-strong citadel, basically a military fort, that withstood many an invader has crumbled under the onslaught of elements in last five centuries.

Sarai at Doraha
Mughal Sarai, built by Sher Shah Suri in 17th century AD, was a much sought-after place for fatigued travellers during Mughal rule. The ‘sarai is approximately 168 sq m enclosure of battlement walls with octagonal bastion at each corner. There are imposing gateways in the centre on the northern and southern sides.

Nehru Rose Garden
Nehru Rose Garden, established in 1967, is one of the green spaces of Ludhiana city and an ideal place for spending time with the family. The largest Rose Garden in Asia is spread over an area of 27 acres and has more than 17,000 plants representing some 1,600 varieties of roses as well as several fountains. This is flower garden and a garden for walkers, with an illuminated musical fountain.

Tiger Safari
The zoo in Ludhiana, known as the Tiger Safari, is situated on GT Road (Ludhiana-Jalandhar Highway), 6 km away from the main city. Majestic tigers roaming about in the dense jungle offer a thrilling experience.

Hardy's World
Located about 7 km from the main city, this visually stunning amusement park offers a complete fun package. Theme parties, cafes, joy rides and shopping complex are entertainment bonanza for all age groups.

Punjab Agricultural University Museum
The world famous Punjab Agriculture University, founded in 1962, is situated on the outskirts of the city. It is patterned after the Land Grant College of America.

The Museum of Rural History of Punjab is located on the University campus. The museum building resembles the traditional houses of rural Punjab. A 100 yard long path, flanked on both sides by water channels, leads to the finely carved doors of the museum. There are exhibits of old bronze utensils, farming equipment, etc. Open from 9 am to 1pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

Bhir
Bhir has the famous mosque built by Mohammad Ghori in 1911, 150 year-old Khangah of Abdul Rehman Khan, mausoleum of Alawal Khan built during Shah Jehan's regime, octagonal in shape, surmounted by a double pear shaped dome, the tomb of Bahadur Khan with sloping walls, two storied, double tomb of Husain Khan, Bilwanwali Masjid, mosque of Kamal-ud-din Khan/ Sarai Doraha on the main highway, Ludhiana dates back to Emperor Jehangir's time.

Phillaur Fort
Naru Rajputs under Rai Shahr whose territory extended from Mau to Selkiana occupied this fort and his son Rai Rattan Pal abandoned Mau and settled at Phillaur.

RakhBagh Park
This is a beautiful picnic spot with lush green surroundings. Mini train joyride is an added attraction. It is also a wonderful place for the morning walkers.
