Barua Sagar (24 km.)
This is where the Marathas fought the Bundelas in 1744. The place is named after the Barua Sagar Tal, a large lake created about 260 years ago when Raja Udit Singh of Orchha built the embankment. This fort, picturesquely located at a height, commands an excellent view of the lake and surrounding landscape. The town is situated on the road to Khajuraho.
Parichha (25 km.)
A dam, built on the Betwa River. The area is rich in scenic beauty.
Kalinjar (257 km)
The Fort was a Chandela stronghold from the 9th to 15th centuries and remained invincible upto the of the Mughals. This Historic fort is well worth a visit.
Chitrakoot (304 km)
Chitrakoot incorporates very many places of religious and pauranic importance,visited both by devotees and sight-seers.From the administrative view point, some of these places are situated in Uttar Pradesh and others in Madhya Pradesh
