Established as a trading post during the colonial period, the district town of Balasore is a commercial city that makes a great base for exploration of several attractions including sea beaches, temples and wildlife. Today Balasore is a great place for a seaside jaunt, boasting a generous expanse of wide sandy beaches and clean water for swimming.
