Huzur Sahib Sachkhand Gurudwara
Built in 1837 by the great Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Huzur Sahib Sachkhand Gurudwara is a very sacred place for the Sikhs. It is here that their 10th and last Guru Guru Gobind Singh spent his last days. The Gurudwara is considered to be one of the holiest of the five "Takths" or seat of authority of the Sikhs.
An architectural beauty, the shrine has beautifully carved marble pillars, decorated floors and a dome adorned with gold leaves. Other important gurudwaras situated in and around Nanded are the Bandaghat Langar Sahib, Mata Sahib Dewa, Maltekri Sahib, Naginaghat Nanak Puri, Shikar Ghat Gurudwaras and Sangat Sahib.
