Gurudwara Charan Kamal (35 km): This Gurudwara, situated in village Machhiwara, commemorates the place where Sri Guru Gobind Singh had rested while fighting a guerrilla war against a massive Mughal force.

Gurdwara Charan Kanwal at Machhiwara marks the site of the garden where Guru Gobind Singh had a sip of water and a spell of brief sleep. It was here that his three devotees, Dhram Singh, Daga Singh and Manu Singh, joined him. The sacred shrine commemorating the historical event has a beautiful building. An annual congregation fair is held in December, corresponding to 9th and 10th of Poh, the days of Guruji stay at Machiwara.

 Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib is situated in village Takhtupura, 32 km southeast of Moga city. The Gurdwara Sahib is 3 km from the main Moga-Barnala Road between villages Lohara and Bilaspur. 


Jalandhar (34 km)Jalandhar, the 'Sports City of India', boasts of many historic monuments. Prominent among them are the mausoleum of Imran Nasir, the fort at Phillaur which once served as Maharaja Ranjit Singh's line of defence 


against the British, a Shiv Mandir which dates back to the Lodhi era and the Gurdwara at Kartarpur nearby. The Gurdwara was built by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjun Dev, in 1656. Every year, a fair is held on the birth anniversary of the Guru when a large number of devotees gather to pay homage.

Khanna: Khanna is a satellite town of Ludhiana. It boasts of Asia's largest grain market.

Bhakra Dam: Bhakhra Dam, the highest straight gravity dam in the world, situated in Naina Devi Sub-Tehsil about 14 km from Nangal town, occupies a predominant position amongst the places of tourist interest. Built on river Sutlej, it supplies power to the whole of North India. The view of the vast dam and green jungles around is fascinating indeed. Gobind Sagar, the 40 sq km reservoir of the main dam at Bhakhra, has a restaurant as well as boating facilities.
