The impressive tradition of wood and metal craft, as manifested in the ancient temples and dwellings, is thriving till date, with the master craftsmen passing on the skills to successive generations. Woolen handicrafts like shawls, stoles, socks and footwear, in traditional patterns make for great souvenirs.
The building architecture of Naggar is a unique craft in itself. The timber bonded style of with alternate courses of dry stone and deodar or spruce wood beams are skillfully crafted out of local materials.
More than a dozen ancient temples of the Shikhara and Pagoda styles adorn the village.
