Mukutmanipur is a small town in Bankura district of West Bengal in the east of India, situated at a distance of 8 km from the sub-divisional centre of Khatra, 53 km from the district town of Bankura and 262 km from Kolkata, the state capital. It is located at the confluence of the Kangsabati and Kumari rivers and is close to the Jharkhand state border.
