A dozen Khukrne wood artisans retain the vintage skill used for the ornate Jageshwari dwelling facades. The folk art can be seen in ornamentation on the wood on the doors, windows and facades of the traditional homes. The folk art of Aipan and Jyoti patta is made during religious festivals by women on the entrances of their houses and the courtyards.
