Rishi Valley School
One of the major landmarks of Horsley Hills, this school is nestled in a stannic landscape. Located close to the town of Madanapalle, this school was founded by philosopher and educationist Jiddu Krishnamurti.
A famous fort town in the mighty Vijayanagar kingdom the place is home to several tombs including those of the relatives of Tipu Sultan.
Famous for its 16th century temple complex executed in the Vijayanagar style, the place attracts visitors in large number. The monolithic statue of Nandi, the largest in the country, is a major attraction here.

The Chenchu tribes who inhabit the Horsley Hills keep the renowned Pungannur cows. The Pungannur cows are known for their milk yielding capacity and low appetite.
