The Bombay Presidency Golf Club-Mumbai
The Bombay Presidency Golf Club located amongst 85 acres of lush green fairway is one of the oldest and famous golf clubs in Mumbai. The eighteen-hole, par 70 course yardge 6223/5463, spread over an expanse of 90-acre, was founded in 1927 and was redesigned to international standards by the legendary five-time British Open champion Peter Thompson. This club is often known as the BGPC.
Presidencys fairways are narrow and tight, but its greens are undoubtedly the best in the country. The real test is, however, the variable and shifting sea breeze, which could fox even the most experienced player. The course is very challenging as its not too long, not too narrow, and yet not an easy course to break par.
The Bombay presidency golf club does not only have a wonderful golf course, but also has a club house which is equipped with all the facilities like the swimming pool, health club, accommodation, restaurants and so on.
